Black looks much better after the update but it still mixes horribly with other colors. There's no way to get a dark color now, even the extremelly expensive combination of Color+Black+Black+Black looks like Color+1Black did before Nightfall.
The darkening effect of adding Black to a mix is very minimal, just have a test, easy to do with the new interface : Try Black+3x sameColor and see how little the 1 black changes, then try Color+3 Blacks and see how far from black is this mix.

I wish it was possible to take a Black Dye (which is very dark now) and add a chosen fraction of another dye vial to it, scalable. (of course wasting the remains of the dye)
Because now its illogical and ridiculous :: Look, you have a vial of perfect Black Dye and want to lighten it up just a little and colorize it. Adding just a little of another dye to it would be logical, but no, in GW you have to buy another 2 Blacks to mix with a color AND STILL the effect is poor, looking more like adding half a black than a whooping 3 blacks.

And i think its doable as the current game engine can handle much more different color combinations than are possible to obtain by any possible dye combination currently. Proof : armors from before the update didnt change even if their color is now impossible to be reproduced.
